Younger & Bresson

In 1975, in the heart of Paris, the brothers Louzons brought to life the French watchmaking brand Yonger & Bresson. The name “Yonger” draws inspiration from the English word “Younger,” emphasizing the modernity and innovative style infused into Y&B watches. “Bresson” pays homage to the renowned photographer Henri Cartier Bresson, a master of street photography and co-founder of Magnum Photos in 1947. These influences blend modernity and artistic values with craftsmanship and tradition, giving rise to the creation of Y&B. Located in the trendy and historic Marais district, the brand draws inspiration from the authenticity and artistic atmosphere of this Parisian environment, historically significant for watchmakers, jewelers, and famous artists. Today, Yonger & Bresson has evolved into a Franco-Swiss brand, collaborating with Franck Müller’s Design team led by Gabriele Guidi. The assembly of watches is carried out by experienced watchmakers from the Ambre Group in their workshops in Morteau, at the heart of the French Watchmaking Basin, solidifying the brand’s historical renaissance.
